This is a combination cough medicine that contains several ingredients working together: ammonium chloride helps loosen thick mucus in your chest, ipecacuanha extract helps you bring up phlegm, liquorice extract soothes your irritated throat, while peppermint oil and aniseed oil give a cooling, soothing effect on your airways.
Stimulates respiratory tract secretions and mucus liquefaction through vagal reflex stimulation (ammonium chloride and ipecacuanha), while liquorice extract reduces airway inflammation and enhances mucus clearance; peppermint and aniseed oils provide bronchodilation and antimicrobial effects, facilitating expectoration of respiratory secretions.

If you forget a dose, just take it when you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not double the dose to catch up.

If your cough lasts more than 7 days or you start coughing blood, stop and see a doctor. Do not use this medicine to suppress a dry cough, as it is meant for wet cough with phlegm.
