This is a medicated throat lozenge (sweet you suck slowly) that contains two antiseptic ingredients: 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol and Amylmetacresol, which kill germs in your mouth and throat, plus Vitamin C to support your immune system.
Inhibits bacterial and fungal growth by disrupting cell membrane integrity and protein denaturation through halogenated phenolic action; simultaneously reduces inflammation and pain through antioxidant mechanisms and collagen synthesis enhancement via ascorbic acid cofactor activity.

This medicine is taken only when you feel throat pain or irritation, so there is no strict dosing schedule. Simply take the next lozenge when you need relief without needing to double up.
No major drug interactions are known with Strepsils lozenges. However, if you are already taking high-dose Vitamin C supplements, be aware that the extra Vitamin C in this lozenge adds up. Avoid using other medicated throat sprays or lozenges at the same time to prevent irritation.
