Who is this for?
This is a Vitamin B Complex supplement containing Vitamin B1 (thiamine), Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), and Nicotinamide (a form of Vitamin B3) — essential vitamins that help your body turn food into energy, support your nervous system, and keep your skin healthy.
**Vitamin B1 (Thiamine):** Functions as a coenzyme for pyruvate dehydrogenase and α-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase complexes, enabling carbohydrate metabolism and energy production essential for neurological and muscular function. **Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin):** Serves as a precursor for flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) and flavin mononucleotide (FMN), acting as electron carriers in oxidative phosphorylation and the citric acid cycle to support cellular energy production and tissue repair. **Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3):**

Take 1 tablet once or twice daily, preferably with food or after eating. Swallow with a full glass of water. You can take it at any time of day, but taking it in the morning with breakfast is a good habit. Known in Nigeria as Alben Vitamin B Complex Tablet.
If you miss a dose, just take it when you remember. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal. No need to double up — vitamins work best when taken regularly, not in double doses.
Buy from reputable pharmacies — avoid buying vitamins from roadside sellers or open markets as they may be expired or fake. Do not take more than the recommended dose thinking it will work faster — your body will just flush out the excess. Check the expiry date on the pack before buying, especially in Nigeria where storage conditions may not always be ideal.
Levodopa (used for Parkinson's disease) — Vitamin B6 in some B complex formulas can reduce its effect. Some antibiotics like tetracycline may not work as well if taken at the same time — space them at least 2 hours apart. Alcohol reduces how well your body absorbs B vitamins, so limit alcohol intake.

Is it safe to take Vit with your other drugs?
Generally considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding at recommended doses, and B vitamins are actually important for a healthy pregnancy — but always confirm with your doctor before starting any supplement.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian weather can be hot, so avoid leaving it in your car or near windows. Keep the container tightly closed to protect from humidity. Always keep out of reach of children.
For information only — not medical advice. Always talk to a doctor or pharmacist before changing your medication.
