Urofollitropin is a fertility hormone injection that contains purified follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). It works by stimulating the ovaries to produce and develop eggs, helping women who are struggling to get pregnant.
Binds to follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) receptors on ovarian granulosa cells, stimulating follicular growth and estradiol production to promote ovulation and multiple egg development for fertility treatment.
Infertility in women (difficulty getting pregnant), stimulating egg production for IVF (assisted reproduction), ovulation problems caused by hormonal imbalance
