This is not a medicine you take on its own. It is used by healthcare workers in hospitals or clinics to dissolve powdered injectable drugs or to dilute concentrated medicines before injecting them. Never inject sterilized water by itself into your veins in large amounts — it can be dangerous.
This does not apply because sterilized water for injection is not a medicine you take on a schedule. It is only used when preparing other injectable drugs.
Always buy from reputable pharmacies — brands like Aquapress are well known in Nigeria. Never use sterilized water for injection if the seal is broken, the container is cracked, or the water looks cloudy or contains particles. This product should ideally be handled by trained healthcare workers, not used for self-injection at home.
Sterilized water for injection does not interact with food or alcohol since it is not a medicine. However, always check that the medicine you are dissolving in it is compatible — some drugs should not be mixed together in the same solution.

Is it safe to take Sterilized with your other drugs?
Sterilized water for injection itself is safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding since it is just pure water used to prepare other medicines — but always check the safety of the actual medicine being dissolved in it.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Once an ampoule or bottle is opened, use it immediately and throw away any leftover — do not store opened containers. Keep out of reach of children.
For information only — not medical advice. Always talk to a doctor or pharmacist before changing your medication.
