Who is this for?

Silicon dioxide is a naturally occurring mineral compound used mainly as an inactive ingredient in medicines and supplements, but in gel form (like Praicon Gel), it works as a protective and soothing agent for skin and wound care by forming a barrier over affected areas.

Is Silicon safe to take with another drug?

For the gel form, clean the affected area first, then apply a thin layer of the gel to the skin as needed, usually 2-3 times daily or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. It is for external use only — do not swallow it.

If you forget to apply the gel, simply apply it as soon as you remember. Since it is used on the skin as needed, there is no strict schedule — just continue your normal routine.

Silicon dioxide gel has very few known drug interactions since it is applied to the skin.
