Roflumilast is a medicine that reduces inflammation in the lungs by blocking a specific enzyme called PDE4, helping to keep the airways open and reduce flare-ups of chronic lung disease.
Inhibits phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4), increasing intracellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels in inflammatory cells, thereby suppressing the release of pro-inflammatory mediators and reducing airway inflammation in COPD.

Take one 500 microgram tablet once a day, with or without food, at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It may take several weeks before you notice improvement, so keep taking it as prescribed.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take two tablets to make up for it.
Only buy from licensed pharmacies — avoid roadside or unregistered sellers, as fake medicines are common. This is a long-term medicine, so do not stop taking it because you feel better without talking to your doctor.
