This is a combination antibiotic injection that contains two forms of penicillin — Procaine Penicillin (which releases slowly and lasts longer in the body) and Benzyl Penicillin Potassium (which works fast to kill bacteria quickly). Together, they give you both immediate and long-lasting protection against bacterial infections.
Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins and preventing peptidoglycan cross-linking, resulting in bactericidal activity against susceptible Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms.

This drug is given as an injection into the muscle (IM injection) by a nurse or doctor — it is NOT taken by mouth. Adults typically receive 1 to 4 mega units (million units) daily, depending on how serious the infection is. Your doctor will decide the exact dose and how many days you need it. Always complete the full course even if you feel better.
If you miss your scheduled injection, go to the hospital or clinic as soon as you remember. Do not try to double the dose. Contact your doctor to reschedule and continue the remaining doses as planned.

Methotrexate (used for arthritis and some cancers) — penicillin can increase its side effects. Blood-thinning drugs like warfarin — penicillin may increase the risk of bleeding. Tetracycline antibiotics (like doxycycline) — taking them together can reduce how well penicillin works, so tell your doctor about any other medications you are using.

Store the powdered form in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian weather can be very hot, so avoid storing near windows or in cars. Once mixed with water for injection, use it immediately or refrigerate and use within 24 hours. Always keep out of reach of children.
