Who is this for?

This is a combination cold and flu medicine that contains a painkiller and fever reducer (paracetamol), a decongestant to unblock your nose (phenylephrine), an antihistamine to stop sneezing and runny nose (chlorphenamine), caffeine to keep you alert and boost the painkiller's effect, and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) to support your immune system.

**Paracetamol:** Inhibits COX-2 and COX-3 enzymes in the central nervous system, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and lowering pain threshold and body temperature set point. **Caffeine:** Antagonizes adenosine receptors (A1 and A2A), reducing sedation and enhancing the analgesic effect of paracetamol through increased alertness and CNS stimulation. **Phenylephrine:** Activates alpha-1 adrenergic receptors on nasal mucosa blood vessels, causing vasoconstriction and reducing nasal congestion and rhinorrhoea. **Chlorphen

Is Paracetamol; safe to take with another drug?

Adults should take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. You can take it with or without food, but taking it with a little food can reduce stomach upset.

Since this medicine is taken only when you have symptoms, there is no strict schedule. If you forget a dose, just take it when you remember, but do not double up to make up for the missed one. Always wait at least 4 hours between doses.

Do not take with other paracetamol-containing products (like Procold, Combiflam, or any other cold medicine with paracetamol) as this can cause liver damage from overdose. Avoid drinking alcohol while using this medicine as it increases the risk of liver problems. Be careful combining it with blood pressure medicines, as the phenylephrine can raise your blood pressure.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian weather can be very hot, so avoid leaving it in your car or near a window. Keep the pack tightly closed away from moisture and always keep it out of the reach of children.
