How to take this drug

This usually comes as a combi kit (like Omefast Plus Combi Kit). The typical adult dose is Omeprazole 20mg + Clarithromycin 500mg + Tinidazole 500mg, all taken together twice daily (morning and evening) for 7 to 14 days. Take the medicines with food or just before eating. Swallow the tablets whole with a full glass of water — do not crush or chew them.

What if I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

Avoid alcohol completely while taking this medicine — Tinidazole and alcohol can cause severe nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps. Do not take with blood thinners like warfarin without your doctor's knowledge as it can increase bleeding risk. Avoid using with ergotamine-based migraine medicines as the combination can be dangerous.
