This is an injectable combination of two drugs — lidocaine (a local anaesthetic that numbs a specific area of your body so you don't feel pain) and epinephrine (adrenaline, which tightens blood vessels to keep the numbing effect in that area longer and reduce bleeding).
Blocks voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve cell membranes, preventing depolarization and nerve impulse transmission; epinephrine acts as a potent alpha-1 and beta-2 adrenergic agonist, causing vasoconstriction to prolong local anaesthetic duration and reduce systemic absorption.
