This is a combination of three medicines: Lansoprazole (which reduces stomach acid), Clarithromycin (an antibiotic), and Tinidazole (which kills certain bacteria and parasites). Together, they work to kill Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a stubborn bacteria that causes stomach ulcers.
Inhibits gastric H+/K+-ATPase proton pump to reduce acid secretion, while clarithromycin binds bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit to inhibit protein synthesis, and tinidazole generates reactive metabolites that damage H. pylori DNA and disrupt bacterial cell integrity.
