This is a combination of two antiviral medicines (Lamivudine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate) that work together to stop the HIV virus from multiplying in your body, helping your immune system stay strong.
Inhibits HIV and HBV reverse transcriptase by competing with natural nucleotides/nucleotides for incorporation into viral DNA, causing chain termination and preventing viral replication. Both agents are nucleoside/nucleotide analogs that require intracellular phosphorylation to achieve their active forms.
