Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement with Ginseng
Last reviewed June 2026
Who is this for?
This is a multivitamin and mineral tonic that combines Korean ginseng (a natural energy booster) with iron and several B-vitamins to help your body fight tiredness, build blood, and stay energized.
Replenishes essential B-complex vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, nicotinamide, pantothenic acid, cyanocobalamin) which serve as cofactors for cellular energy metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis; restores iron stores via ferrous fumarate to enhance oxygen-carrying capacity and reverse anaemia; and potentiates adaptogenic effects of ginseng to improve stress resilience and physical endurance through enhanced mitochondrial ATP production and reduced fatigue markers.

For adults, take 1 capsule or tablet once or twice daily, preferably with food to help your body absorb the iron better and reduce stomach upset. Follow the directions on the Viva Tonic pack or as your pharmacist advises.
If you miss a dose, just take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take two at once to make up for it.
Buy only from reputable pharmacies — avoid buying from roadside sellers or bus hawkers as the product may be fake or expired. Do not take more than the recommended dose thinking it will work faster — too much iron can be dangerous. Keep iron-containing medicines away from children as accidental overdose can be very harmful to them.
Do not take this with tetracycline or ciprofloxacin antibiotics at the same time — iron reduces how well they work, so space them at least 2 hours apart. Antacids (like aluminium or magnesium-containing ones) can reduce iron absorption, so take them separately. Avoid taking with alcohol as it can worsen stomach upset and reduce vitamin absorption.
