How it works

How to take this drug

Shake the bottle well before use. For eye infections, put 1-2 drops into the affected eye 4-6 times a day, or as your doctor directs. For ear infections, put 2-3 drops into the affected ear 3-4 times a day. Tilt your head to the side and keep it tilted for a minute or two after putting the drops in. Do not let the tip of the bottle touch your eye, ear, or fingers.

What if I Miss a Dose?

If you forget a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double up to make up for the missed dose.

Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.

People allergic to hydrocortisone

polymyxin B
or any tetracycline antibiotic. People with viral eye infections like herpes of the eye
fungal infections of the eye or ear
or a perforated eardrum (hole in the eardrum). Do not use if you have glaucoma unless directed by a doctor.

How to Store

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian weather can be very hot, so avoid leaving it in your car or near windows. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Discard any remaining suspension 4 weeks after opening.
