Who is this for?
Follitropin alfa is a man-made version of a natural hormone called FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) that helps the body produce eggs in women or sperm in men. It works by stimulating the ovaries to grow and release eggs, which is why it is mainly used for fertility treatment.
Binds to follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) receptors on granulosa cells in the ovaries, stimulating follicular growth and estradiol production in women, and promoting spermatogenesis in men with gonadotropin deficiency.

Store in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C). In Nigeria's hot climate, do not leave it out at room temperature for long periods. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat. Once a GONAL-f pen is opened, it can be stored at or below 25°C for up to 28 days, but do not freeze it. Always keep out of reach of children.
