Dilute acetic acid is a mild acid solution (basically a weak form of vinegar) used mainly to treat ear infections by creating an acidic environment that kills bacteria and fungi.
Inhibits bacterial and fungal growth by lowering pH and denaturing microbial proteins, creating an acidic environment hostile to pathogenic organisms. Additionally, disrupts the structural integrity of bacterial cell membranes and inhibits enzyme function essential for microbial metabolism and replication.
Ear infections (especially outer ear infection/swimmer's ear), cleaning wounds, removing warts

If you forget a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not double up to make up for the missed dose.
Complete the full course of treatment even if your ear feels better, as stopping early can allow the infection to come back. Do not use homemade vinegar solutions as a substitute; always use the properly prepared medical-grade solution. If your symptoms do not improve after 7 days, see a doctor rather than continuing to self-treat.
Avoid using other ear drops at the same time unless your doctor says it is okay. Do not mix dilute acetic acid with alkaline solutions (like baking soda-based remedies) as they cancel each other out.
