This is a combination cream that contains clotrimazole (an antifungal that kills fungus on the skin) and clobetasol propionate (a very strong steroid that reduces itching, redness, and swelling). Together they fight skin infections while calming inflammation fast.
Inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis by blocking lanosterol 14α-demethylase (CYP51), disrupting cell membrane integrity, while clobetasol propionate binds glucocorticoid receptors to suppress inflammatory cytokines and T-cell proliferation, providing rapid anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects.
