Adults usually take 1 tablet three times a day (morning, afternoon, and night). You can take it with or without food, but taking it with a little food can reduce stomach upset. Do not take more than 3 tablets in a day unless your doctor says so. Swallow with a full glass of water.

This is a combination medicine containing chlorzoxazone (a muscle relaxant) and paracetamol (a painkiller). Chlorzoxazone works by calming tense muscles in your body, while paracetamol reduces pain and fever, so together they relieve muscle pain and stiffness.

How it works

Inhibits polysynaptic reflexes in the spinal cord and brainstem through unknown mechanisms (chlorzoxazone), while paracetamol inhibits COX enzymes in the central nervous system, reducing prostaglandin-mediated pain and fever perception to provide analgesia and muscle relaxation.

What to watch out for

Do not combine this with other paracetamol products (like Panadol, Boska, or cold medicines), as too much paracetamol can seriously damage your liver. This medicine can make you drowsy, so avoid driving okada, operating machines, or doing anything requiring sharp focus after taking it. Be careful if you are already taking other paracetamol-containing medicines like Panadol or cold relief tablets, as you can easily overdose on paracetamol. Sedatives or sleeping pills can increase the drowsiness caused by this drug.
