This is a combination antacid medicine containing bismuth carbonate, magnesium carbonate, and heavy kaolin that works by neutralizing excess stomach acid and coating the stomach lining to relieve stomach discomfort and indigestion.
Neutralizes gastric acid through chemical buffering and forms a protective coating over the gastric mucosa; kaolin adsorbs toxins and irritants while bismuth provides antimicrobial effects against gastric pathogens, collectively reducing acid-related symptoms and protecting the gastrointestinal lining.

Since this medicine is usually taken only when you feel stomach discomfort, there is no strict dosing schedule. Simply take it when you need it, do not double up to make up for a missed dose.
Buy only from reputable pharmacies, avoid buying from roadside sellers or open markets where storage conditions are poor. Do not use this medicine continuously for more than 2 weeks without seeing a doctor, as ongoing stomach problems may need proper investigation. If your stool turns black, do not panic, it is a harmless effect of bismuth, but if you also notice blood in your stool, see a doctor immediately.
