Who is this for?
Bimatoprost is an eye drop medication that works by helping fluid drain out of your eye more easily, which lowers the pressure inside your eye. It belongs to a group of medicines that mimic natural substances called prostaglandins.
Binds to prostaglandin F (FP) receptors on the ciliary muscle and trabecular meshwork, increasing uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humour and reducing intraocular pressure. Also stimulates melanin production in melanocytes, promoting eyelash growth and pigmentation.
High eye pressure (glaucoma), elevated pressure inside the eye (ocular hypertension), also used cosmetically to grow longer and thicker eyelashes

If you forget to use your drop, apply it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your normal schedule. Do not use two drops to make up for the one you missed.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat, which is important in Nigeria's hot climate. Once opened, use within 4 weeks and then throw away the bottle. Keep out of reach of children. You may store an unopened bottle in the fridge but do not freeze it.
