This is a combination skin cream that fights skin infections in multiple ways: Betamethasone reduces swelling, itching and redness, Tolnaftate fights fungal infections, Neomycin kills bacteria, and Clioquinol tackles both bacteria and fungi. It is sold in Nigeria as Tridermix-G Cream.
Inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis (tolnaftate), disrupts bacterial protein synthesis via 30S ribosomal subunit binding (neomycin), denatures microbial proteins (clioquinol), and activates glucocorticoid receptors to suppress inflammatory cytokines and immune cell infiltration (betamethasone), providing synergistic anti-infective and anti-inflammatory action for mixed bacterial-fungal skin infections.

If you forget to apply the cream, put it on as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next application, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not apply double the amount to make up for it.
Important for antibiotics
Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.
Do not use this cream for longer than 2 weeks without a doctor's guidance, as long-term use of steroid creams can damage your skin permanently. Buy only from licensed pharmacies, not roadside sellers, because fake skin creams are common in Nigeria. Do not use Tridermix-G Cream as a bleaching or toning cream, as it is a medicine, not a cosmetic product.
Avoid using other steroid creams or medicated skin products on the same area at the same time, as this can increase side effects. If you are taking any oral steroids like prednisolone, let your doctor know. Do not mix with other antifungal or antibiotic creams unless a doctor advises it.
