This is a combination medicine containing three active ingredients — Amlodipine (which relaxes blood vessels), Telmisartan (which blocks a chemical that tightens blood vessels), and Hydrochlorothiazide (a 'water pill' that helps your body remove excess salt and water). Together, they work from three different angles to bring down high blood pressure effectively.

Take one tablet once a day, at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will decide which strength is right for you based on how well your blood pressure is controlled. Do not change the dose on your own.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Never take two tablets at once to make up for a missed dose.
Always buy from a licensed pharmacy — do not purchase from roadside sellers or open markets, as fake blood pressure medicines are common in Nigeria. Do not stop taking this medicine because you feel fine — high blood pressure often has no symptoms but can cause stroke or heart attack if untreated. Avoid taking with other blood pressure medicines or potassium supplements without your doctor's knowledge, as this can cause your blood pressure or potassium levels to go dangerously low or high. NSAIDs like ibuprofen (commonly used for body pain) can reduce the effectiveness of this medicine and affect your kidneys. Alcohol can worsen dizziness and further lower your blood pressure, so limit or avoid it.
