This is a combination drug containing Amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and Indapamide (a water pill/diuretic). They work together to relax your blood vessels and remove extra water and salt from your body, which helps lower high blood pressure.
Blocks L-type calcium channels in vascular smooth muscle and cardiac tissue, causing vasodilation and reducing peripheral vascular resistance, while indapamide inhibits sodium reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubule, promoting natriuresis and reducing blood volume to synergistically lower blood pressure.

Take one tablet once a day, preferably in the morning. Swallow it whole with a glass of water — do not crush, chew, or break the tablet because it is a modified-release type designed to release the drug slowly. You can take it with or without food. Your doctor will decide which strength is right for you.
If you miss a dose, skip it and take your next dose at the usual time the following morning. Do not take two tablets at once to make up for the missed one.
Only buy Natrixam from licensed pharmacies — do not buy from roadside sellers or open markets as fake drugs are common. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly because your blood pressure can spike dangerously — always consult your doctor before stopping. Check your blood pressure regularly at a pharmacy or clinic to make sure the drug is working well for you.
Avoid taking this drug with other blood pressure medicines without your doctor's guidance, as your blood pressure may drop too low. Be careful with NSAIDs like ibuprofen (Brufen) as they can reduce its effectiveness and affect your kidneys. Avoid drinking alcohol as it can increase dizziness and further lower your blood pressure.
