When to see a doctor
Seek care if you notice any of the following
- You have a fever that lasts for more than 3 days or gets very high, above 38.5°C.
- You start coughing up blood or yellow or green mucus that smells bad.
- You feel very short of breath or have trouble breathing even when sitting still.
- You have a severe headache or chest pain that doesn't go away.
- You start feeling confused, disoriented, or have trouble speaking.
