When to see a doctor
Seek care if you notice any of the following
- If you have a fever over 38°C (100.4°F) that lasts for more than 3 days, go to your nearest clinic or hospital.
- If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, or if you experience severe chest pain, go to your nearest clinic or hospital immediately.
- If you have a rash that spreads quickly, becomes very painful, or starts to blister and ooze pus, go to your nearest clinic or hospital.
- If you have a headache that is severe, gets worse over time, or is accompanied by confusion, dizziness, or seizures, go to your nearest clinic or hospital.
- If you have a rash that covers a large area of your body, especially if it's on your face, eyes, or genital area, go to your nearest clinic or hospital.
